Re: Somaliland Telecoms !!!
Like most developing countries Somaliland is becoming increasingly dependent on its thriving telecommunication services,
Somaliland is leading the way in the Telecommunication sector in the region but the lack of reliable and affordable connectivity with the rest of the world is impeding its potential growth. This is also denying fast Internet connections for the thriving businesses, government departments and academic institutions which are at the heart of future developments of this country and its people.

Re: Somaliland Telecoms !!!
Executive sxb, what everr you just posted has alot to do with politics whether somcable or dalkom somalia is lobbying on their behalf. However, with that said, when you said djibouti, do you think that only cisse lives there. Do you know who's the minister of telecommunication in djibouti is? reer liban sacaad muuse. Secondly, lets just said, for the sake of argument, that the somcable is a subsidiary of djibouti telecom, do you know however that the owner of somcable is ina said, the rich abdallah sacaad merchant in djibouti? marka whether somcable falls within djibouti telecom or not, the heads are isaaq, precisely sacaad muse

Take it easy. I never talked about qabil in this topic put that aside. I just wanted to know the owner since the report and other sources seems to be very conflicting. If Somcable is a subsidiary of state owned Djibouti Telecom. This would be the corporate structure of Somcable:
Immediate parent entity = Djibouti Telcom
Ultimate parent entity = Republic of Djibouti
Therefore the company must be owned by the state.
