Not a good idea to build such a 'average' hotel when its only 10 minutes away from the airport.
Small hotels in a busy environment during the summertime = small income.

By the way, is the airport finished?

That hotel has been around for many years, I think even before the airport project began.

The airport is nearly done, they're laying the tarmac. Even the parking lot was unpaved just a few months back.

Man Jubba brings back memories- I stayed there and the owners life was nearly taken because he was Dishishe and said something slick. I let it go :|
