Brap Brap! After we brought home the champions league of failed states; After we won the premiership for the most corruption nation; today, SOmalia was named as the country with the worst schooling system in the world. :up: :clap:

Actually, it is false that Somalia is the country with the worst schooling system. If you go there, you will see that we are doing much better than many third world states. Private schools are probbing up, private universities and institutions are every where and Somalis are taking matters into their own hands. Especially, if you go to big cities, schools are very good and the money that one has the better the education gets. Many East African Post secondary graduates go to Somalia for work. If you go to Somalia today, you will see that many Kenya college graduates and post-graduates teaching Somali schools. Many trade unions have also being opened. I can't imagine we have Amoud University and many good schools and they listed us as the country with the worst education. I doubt that there was a genuine effort in that report to really look into the education system in Somalia.

Somalia was one of four countries where more than 70 percent of the population is illiterate, GCE said.

It came bottom of a table of the world’s 60 poorest countries, just behind Eritrea, Haiti, Comoros, Ethiopia, Chad and Burkina Faso.
