Baraka Youth Association http://www.barakayouth.org/

A youth organisation in North Kensington, London set up primarily for young Somalians.

Baraka Youth provides tutoring services to children aged between eleven and seventeen every week on Tuesday and Wednesday nights, from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. We have both full-time teachers and volunteers who come in and help mentor the youths. This includes full English and writing lessons, maths, science, social studies, and general homework assistance. This tutoring takes place at:

7 Thorpe Close
Kensington, London W10 5

It is an easy walk from Ladbroke Grove Station.

have a look at their gallery http://www.barakayouth.org/?page_id=53

Currently they are looking for volunteers so If you are able to help with National Curriculum subjects or Somali language lessons and live close by please get in touch with them.
I'll be posting more volunteering opportunities in the coming days inshaAllah.
