I'm Reer Gadiid

Wallahi we had 2 different Cumar Mohamoud neighbors and they were both related to my sub clan....their awooowe's wife, or their ayeeyo, or their great grandmother was Reer Gadiid....N funny thing is both my parent's families came from Gaalkacyo...my awoowes and their siblings..and cousins and whatnot were all born in Galkacyo. The only ones oo ku dhalan waa aabo, hooyo, iyo waxii la dhasheen....I guess way before the colonizers and perhaps during their stay in Somalia....we heavily intermarried each other....even my father himself has a lot of Majeerteen relatives

Wagardhacdu waxay ukala baxdaa around like 15-16 sub clans...oo Reer Gadiid, Reer Wardheere, Reer Allamagan, Cumar Dheer, iyo Reer Rooble u badan yahiin....

In Dubai I met this Isaaq taxi driver...who was also Reer Gadiid....I was shocked when he said that he is Reer Gadiid...and I was like "Me too"

Shankaroon, i think the colonization messed things up and made every clan isolated, so they started to marry each other. It's up to us to revive the cumar maxamud- wagardhac marriages
