helwaa, i don't know even one person who chews qhat and I don't remember seeing it up close.

It is illegal in america yet many families are falling apart. I think what ruins somali families is wealth. I mean Halimos knowing they can kick their lazy ass farahs and survive - it is that assurance.

The Blessed Leaf cant be the cause of ruin ...
it can even help strength the bonds between lovers

The Blessed Leaf is in fact made up of the same substance as VIAGRA ( for males and femelles.)
Well!! if women do not chew khat and cannot manage the desires of their men and send him away its their fault.

On the other hand men should not chew everyday as that will wore out the woman and make them put u out.

These r the words of a grand son of khat cultivator

Bareento,

This is what Abshir Bacadle Alla Yaa Raxmu said about the kat:

1. Qalbi qooqan, qoore aan wax tarin, qaadigow adigaa leh.
2. Raggoo quusta, haweenkoo qawada qaadow adigaa leh...

Sorry for the language...I am just quoting a verse from the famous peom about qaad...

In Dire Dhawa Khat is closely related with sex,
there is even a chewing technique in which the man and and the woman share the same macwiis 8-)

I do apologize to oll Snetters for such graphic description...
