If Puntland was Independent, would you apply for Citizenship

If Puntland and the TFG get into an argument over oil concessions, and there is considerable oil in Puntland and its trading partners granted it independence, would you apply for citizenship? Most of us would easily get it due to family ties or connections to members of government, so if the option existed would you rush to get your newly-minted Puntlanderian ID?

I'm personally against independence but if it was to happen then I think I would have no choice but to apply for citizenship although it would suck having to travel constantly between Puntland and my family properties in southern Somalia.

Lakin If Puntland gets independence, ofcourse i shall ask for its citizenship ( on the down low, cus you can't have two citizenships where i am ). As for southern Somalia especially Kismayo, we can have an American-Israeli type of alliances, we might not border but we wil be best buddies with unconditional support.
