T.F.G minister of Farming accuses of Al-shabab

Postby Coeus » Mon Jan 17, 2011 11:55 am

Minister of agriculture of Somali Transitional Federal Government has today on Monday accused of Al-shabab militias that they had refused to reach aid to the people in need, reports said.

Minister of Agriculture, Hassan Ishaq Ya’qub told that Islamist militias of Shabab put embargo on people in the endless problems and especially those affected severe droughts in Somalia.

The minister requested aid agencies to help people and provide food and water to people in the humanitarian crisis.

Al-shabab leaders have already refused foreign welfare agencies bring food and medicine in the war torn country of Somalia.

Shabab controls south and central Somalia now with strict rules and won’t listen to the calls Somali community elders, politicians and religious men to accept halt the on going war in order the poor people be assisted quickly.
