An Ethiopian experience

Postby mudugawi » Sat Jan 29, 2011 9:10 pm

My first impression in Ethiopia was a country with nice climate ,extremely nice people and cheap, the food that is, lol. The Bole international airport was impressive. Thanks to Saudi (another 10.000 acres) lol. The amount of poor people and begging is everywhere especially in Addis. Here in dire dawa its less. Also the Somali people are better off than other ethiopians. Walahi so far its been a great vacation. The place I am staying is an old beautiful villa with courtyard. The weird thing is that i get flashback from back when I was kid in somalia. Like the smell of lubaan, taste of zaytuun, hearing the sound of the hen in morning, hear kids play and see people having siesta in afternoon. The other thing i did was eating jaad for first time , good quality not like those London mafresh shit my Uncle always chews lol. Tomorow I am off to Harar for 3 days. Cant wait, heard alot stories about this magical place. I will keep you guys updated.
