Postby RuralMan08 » Fri Mar 11, 2011 1:49 pm

A city that has been shitted on by those not worthy.

Down with Mogadishu. I hope the city is destroyed forever and nobody ever inhabits that place again. The sins of that city is too much

How many women were raped in Mogadishu during the civil war? How many children were orphaned?

How many people killed for no reason except for their tribe? How many scholars were killed inside you O Mogadishu?

Perish O Mogadishu

Muqdishu is still the best city in Somalia.
30% is AS territory now, and soon it will be 0% AS free city.

I doubt Mogadishu residents are sane. Twenty years of violence and inhumane crimes have them not care about anything. Some are even allergic to government explained by their unrelenting opposition to any transitional government that is formed there.

I don't think you are sane. The people want peace and certainly support the TFG's efforts in pacifying the capital.

To be honest I have a friend who went there recently and brought back lots of pictures. Mogadishu even though it is a hell hole, is still very beautiful naturally. The water is gorgeous, pure blue, perfect weather, great aggriculture, sea recoures, strategic location, commercial potential, etc. Even that 6 months during the maxaakim the place was improving by leaps and bounds. That being said the place has been the most lawless place in somalia, and like archer said I do think that it has the highest concentration of people who are mentaly scarred by war. Other areas of the south while were still lawless they were way more calm and peaceful, therefore the people wont have as tough a time transitioning to a government.

Mogadishu is the capital for all Somali's. A real Somali wouldn't talk shit about Mogadishu unless they are a real douchbag tribalist. I do agree the Mogadishu is currently a place full if bloodshed....

I wouldn't ve against building a new captital tho

Too bad Addis Ababa looks better then all cities in Somalia
