Every where in world, only oppressed minorities want to secede from their countries, In Somalia, snm/somalidiidland want to secede from Somalia, because Isaaq is minority inside Somalia borders from Loo-yacadde/Seylac to KismaayoDhulbahante is a minority within Somaliland's borders.

Bro, I agree with a lot of wot you say. I agree that some key mistakes in the early days after victory, the blame for these mistakes lies at feet of Habar Jeclo. The Habar awal and Garxajis SNM in the west destroyed a few towns and entered Borama not to occupy it but rather to show the Gudabirsi tribe the consequence of war. The Habar Yoonis in Ceerigabo and western Sanaag gave the Warsengeli such a Karbaash they that now well and truly know their place. The problem was that the Habar Jeclo who suffered the most, in terms of Dhulbahante harresment and provocation, during the Said Barre government where unwilling to exact further revenge on them by giving them the serious karbashed that they both needed and deserved. When Habar yoonis saw that they weren't gona do any thing they decided to deal with the Dhullos themselves at this point the Habar jeclo military leaders such as ina Kahin and elders stood inbetween the SNM and Dhullos and said "you must go through us". Las anood was completly untouched only because of Habar Jeclo "calool jileec" and hesitation.I know I'm not Isaaq but after spending time and effort studying Somaliland, its past and hopefully promised future, independence. If we look back at the birth of Somaliland and its current path, I think a monumental mistake was made by those in charge of Somaliland today. Silanyo and Ina Kahin and all the SNM combatants at the time should really have sanitized, what it today the troublesome SSC region. I use the word troublesome not because the have any ability to course anarchy inside Somaliland proper, but because dealing with them now is going to be messy. Had the then new born Somaliland in a full on assault turned all its might on accomplishing this single mission, today that region would be like cerigabo instead of the wild wild west. The leadership of Somaliland and Silanyo in particular need to understand something they missed the first time building a country requires blood to be split yours and more of the enemy's for a country to be born. Today if Somaliland goes hard on those who dont follow the blessed Duriyad, the international community will not be happy and the chances of recognition derailed. So a full on assault is out of the question. We cant forever bribe these double dealing jackals, its pointless. We can gain there support in the short term but in the long term its fruitless and the money spent will not be worth the end result. This seems to be the current SL position, and playing nanny to them.
However I have a better solution. You see our peace in the north makes two people happy us and the west. The west wants Somaliland to stay in this semi-independence position till the south matures and the north gets leaders tired of this no-mans land Somaliland is in and they kiss and make up. Thats is there plan and we just seem to be playing the part they scripted for us.
What we need to do is be pro-active in not begging but forcing our policies on both the west and anybody else who has a problem like the SSC. We need to scare the west and put them under pressure so they make decisions more inline with our policies. We do this buy controlled anarchy. We destabilize the north by making it seem like the SL government is losing control of maintaining the peace and SL is being infiltrated by Southerners or in our SSC supporters in cahoot with Al-Shabab and al-qaida. The officials we currently have in SL from SSC will be stripped of any power and locked up on some trumped up charges of supporting terrorism. This will course two thinks one inflame their supporters and two make the west take notice.
The SL mission thats lobbying for recognition will have to put that on hold and lobby hard to insure that the SSC and AL-qaida are one. Then the SL army will be able to apply a policy similar to that of Ethiopia regarding the Ogadenia or Sudan with it Janjaweed with little international blow back, infact Im sure the west will supply the bullets as long as we have pitched them the benefits well.
The other step needed to gain more television coverage and make the hardlines is the SL government needs to support covertly pirates to operate inside SL waters. This will make the west panic as it the mouth of the Red sea and much more ships will be effected. Again we blame this on Somalis from the south and SL gov does not have the ability to stop these pirates operating in its waters, with it dealing with terrorist in SSC. Meaning more money for SL to remove every last non-somalilander.
This will need sacrifices and blood of alot of innocent people. So how far is SL willing to go.
Otherwise leave the SSC people alone and let them go there separate way. I have never met a pro-sl dhulbahnte person and thats how the majority feel.

One day we southerners are the people you claim to worship then next you generalise the whole south based on your debate with one individual.
