Roving, Farmaajo's mom is Darod (Dhulbahante) but beyond that what kind of tribal carnage took place here. I warned Abdalla about starting a retrograde tribal flame war and push came to shove, he seems to have dropped the ball in this bloodbath. :|
I thought his mom was Murusade? Or was that his wife?

Lol about Abdalla dropping the ball, anyone that reads this thread with an open mind will be able to see the who is really out of facts. You and I had many disagreements about precisely these kinds of topics, so why don't you let the other members draw their own conclusions?

Amethyst,

Rest assured, given your ancestry, you would do a better job of bending over and taking it all in from the Colonizers. So no need to outsource your culture to me. All you have done really is provide some petty yawn-inducing denials and ignorance in a futile attempt to deny the facts. But tough luck for you. It has already been established that the Douglas Collins' A Tear for Somalia is listed on the Library of Congress as "his fascinating story of African adventure. Collins spent ten years as a District Commissioner in Somalia. next to leading historical books on Somalia. So no amount of refutations and ignoring the facts will save you here. There is NOT a SINGLE credible source that can call A Tear for Somalia as a work of fiction and Douglas Collins himself states in the foreword section of the book that it is a "personal account" So who are you to say that it is a work of fiction? Your denials are hilarious, runti. Besides, why is it so hard to believe that Boqor Osman was using his daughters as political tools when YET ANOTHER Italian source is also stating that he presented his other daughter to Mohamed Abdulle Hassan AKA Mad Mullah only for her to be tortured and sent back? Your deliberately creating a confusion when none exists and that is sadly lame. But it won't succeed with me.

As for the authenticity of my sources, well unlike some people here, I am actually presenting one source after another complete with links and highlighting, if you refuse to believe them, that is your problem, buddy. Not mine. Despite all your denials, you still are yet to refute that:

1) Amiina Boqor Osman was used by her father as a prostitute to achieve certain political ends
2) That Boqor Osman presented his other daughter to Mohamed Abdulle Hassan as a gift only for her to be tortured and sent back
3) Douglas Collins spent 10 years in Somalia as a British District Commissioner as stated by Douglas Collins in his book
4) Yet to refute that quote I posted next to the Majerteen carrying the Colonial office as being false.

With regards to the Bender Kassim picture, let's for a second pretend it is photoshopped, how do you justify this statement?
Just yet, we are approached by a dau (small elder) of Sultan Mahmud Osman, and through his nacttda know that the sultan was not Allula, but finds the town of vessels Bared, where soon we sent a message to warn of our arrival.

On that day at the beach with the sea waves broke loose and soft, but very large, so much so, despite repeated attempts, we were able to board the boat to go ashore without plunging into the water. But I did not I noticed that more time, I undressed and gained the shore by swimming, where I had a really 'reception ultra friendly, very affectionate, a crowd of people waiting for me on the beach, happy to see me get to their primitive way , to find many friends and know that you had left
If your people were coming out in droves to welcome the Italian Colonizers at their shores, why is it hard to believe that they would lift them up and carry them around? :?

If your entire tactic is disregarding whatever you have no answer for, then thats also your problem. I am posting these facts so people can see through the mythology being pushed by some. Whether you agree or not is futile, really. Let the other readers examine and draw their own conclusions. No need to push your opinions down our throats

Blah, blah, blah. No sources. The end.

Thats the best you could do? lol.

Don't get defensive, I am not looking for a way to get in the debate. Trust me arguing about these things interests me the least but yes Farmaajo's wife is Murusade, his reer abti are Dhulbahante.

I presented my sources and background information, why is it so hard for you to do the same? Or did I touch a raw nerve and you are reduced to mud-slinging?

It's like ur putting all ur eggs in one basket, yet u have no proof of it even existing. How the hell does that even work? lol. Also, I'm not the one parading around with a photoshopped picture supposedly from the 1930's, with a 1994 font written on it, that cant, all of a sudden, be found anywhere, not to mention a fictitious erotic picture supposedly passed off as a history book by a guy who wasn’t even there during the era that he is writing about. I have nothing to prove, but maybe disproving ur pathetic fabrications. Sounding like a broken record the past 3 replies, You do realize writing the same thing over and over again with the same crummy sources doesnt make anything true right? lol. Come back when u have some some legs to stand on.

Amethyst,

You are the one with skewed vision in this discussion- not me. You are conveniently ignoring the sources I presented because you have to protect your ignorance. That's all your denials proof- nothing else. Your entire tactic is built on denial. You called a well-known autobiography as a work of fiction when I clearly demonstrated that it is listed in the Library of Congress as Non-Fiction. For one, that's where your credibility ends. Dont worry about my sources, unlike you I am presenting multiple sources for each point I make. The bottom line is you guys are glorifying bootlickers and screaming hysterically when their history is exposed. Sucks though, because I will just keep on bringing bad news

You mad? You maaad? lol.

I tell you whats really going on here. Your tribal hatered got the best of you, so much so that you brought out false pics, now ur dittering like a fool because you have no proof of their existance. lol. Like I said, either put up, or shut up. Keep bringing up "news", and I'll keep bursting ur little bubble. If your credibility lies in whether or not the book exists, that isnt the evidence. lol. The Library of congress is full of books that has it listed as a non-fiction that are full of both scientific racism and colonialistic bullshit. You know, as much of news as this may be to you, just because the white man wrote it doesnt mean its automatically true :o . lol. In the olden days, people would write back home to those who funded their expeditions to speak of these marvels and creatures never before seen and heard of when in actuality, they were lost in some dumps, dying by the dussin due to diseases. Still no sources? Sad. :(

Ameythst,

Western authors writing false tales could or could not be true. But that has nothing to do with this discussion. You accused Douglas Collins of writing an " Erotic Fiction," when his book is listed by the Library of Congress as a legitimate autobiography; so the burden of proof is in your court Not mine. As far as I am concerned, BOTH Douglas Collins and Robert L Hess are saying the same thing that Boqor Osman was using his daughters for political ends. These are two different sources one a British Colonial Officer and another non-British historian claiming the same thing, so obviously you have a problem with the facts. So Far, you have failed to provide a single evidence for any of your claims NADA, so all I am left refuting are some childish drivel.

About what motivates me, I will keep on exposing the bootlickers some are viewing as legitimate heroes and I will continue to destroy the false mythology being furthered, it makes you guys uncomfortable, but that doesn't stop me.

By all intents and purposes, Amina Boqor Osman existed and is a real figure in history. Her history makes some people nervous but real works of autobiography exist describing her life and history. You can view some excerpts from Douglas Collins book Tales From Africa on Google Books and judge for yourself.
