Can we say these two Ethnic Groups are related or perhaps have the same ancestor? Both of these Groups traditionally settle in eastern part of africa and belong to the cushitic speaking ethnicities.The rendiile have similiar features in skin tone and hair.

also,Somalis and rendiile are nomadic pastoralists and move from place to place in search of water and grazing land.
My own theory is that,both of these groups were one ethnic group some thousand years ago before islam came and the rendiile people refused to let go of their ancient religion which was based on the concept of waaq("The ultimate protector of the universe"),after their apparent refusel they were evicted from their ancestral land and were forced to move further south into kenya NFD.What do you think of this hypothesis?
