I don't really see what is funny here, most countries have a single representative where as somalis have 3. The question of Somalia's Unity is still unresolved and hence still representative of the republic that formed in 1960 in addition to that this same republic has 3 distinct governments that all seek representation at the world stage.

Even if somaliland is recognised tomorrow and have their own individual seat, Puntland will still argue to have equal representation in any international arena where Somalia is invited.

Farmarho must do more to dismantle Pirateland :) with a little help from Atomic kitten.

HATER HATER HATRRRRRRRRRRRR FARMAJO AND ATOM ARE OUR BLOOD COUSINES AND THEY RATHER SEE U DEAD .... :som: :som: ANYWAY HW IS GALMUDUG ?

The continued possibility of a recognized somaliland or the actual recognition of somaliland,
will in the end be of the most benefit to your clan..

The prospects for recognition are very good and inshalah this will be achieved within 5 to 10 years..

but..

lets assume the worst case senario which is fancifull really.
that recognition is not comming and we are forced to work within the somalia framework.

This is the worst thing to happen to you because we will need to gain as much power in somalia to gaurentee our interests, this means that we will have to remove any obstacles in the way.

Meaning your pirate state goes up in smoke..

When you see bossaso, Garowe and Galkacayo in ruins and your people refugees
you will all be wishing that somaliland was recognized..

you are lucky that recognition is comming soon, and you are not part of the equation.

you should be saying alxamdulilah.

I may possibly shift my stance on your recognition purely because you are in an strategic location as a counter balance to the existance of pirateland. That which was created to undermine your sovereignty has mutated into a malignant cancer and it's only cure is the prospect of an all out war with you. We are in no position to even wipe our arses let only address or counter the growing descension instigated by pirateland.

Eriteria of 5million pop had to engage in war with Ethiopia of 90million pop to gain it's independence.

Somaliland of 3.5mill pop only needs to engage Puntland of similar pop to achieve independence. There will be no support provided South of Galkaciyo as a neutral stance is beneficial in such a scenario. Your pretext for war is to end piracy in the horn. Call it operation BlackParrot.

Yes they exist.

If this was even remotely possible you would not be asking for independence. Lets be honest, even with Russian military & economic aid you would still play second fiddle to Majerteen and Hawiye sub-clans in Somali politics, no one will nor has anyone ever taken you guys seriously. You guys are the Kurds of Somalia and will always be - that's why you are seeking independence in the first place, you simply can't play ball with the big boys and it was smart of you to realize this early on. Its better to be a shark in your own pond than a mackerel in the sea of Mogadishu politics, so if I were you guys I wouldn't even attempt to join the big leagues. In 1950, 1960, 1970 you were eating leftovers, what makes you think you'd be able to eat at the dinner table with the party today?

And plus, considering the fact that Ethiopia denied your Habar Jeclo access to their own Isaaq brothers' ports, your clan would starve without access to Bosaso or Mogadishu so play smart and pray that independence is halted because Berbera can't and won't support you.

Hj does not require bosaaso port anymore now that the managment in berbera has been changed. Where you got the idea that ethiopia denied them access to the port is beyond me. The rest of your rant is irrelevant. The fact remains, while we are 'not on your league', we still deny your clan to be united my friend. Why you decided to open your mouth and show your face here is truly amazing. The only reason mj politics exists in that pirate enclave is because we allowed it to continue when taking in cadde as a refugee and ecouraging him to rejoin politics while keeping your militia at bay. Can i get a checkmate please.
