The Isaaq did not break up the Somali nation by claiming independence. It broke up because of 20+ years of instability and war. Piracy and terrorism has made the situation even worse.

Why should Somaliland be held hostage? Don't be selfish. This is a region that wants the best for itself. How selfish it is for those who go after Somaliland for claiming independence when you have problems in your own backyard.
