Another thing, do you guys make coffee at home? I never drank home made coffee, maybe somali qaxoow once or twice, the damn thing tastes terrible for some reason, in the past whenever I was itching for coffee, I have always made a trip to Timmies, the idea making coffee at home didn't even occur to me

Besides an iced coffee drink, with extra sweetner about twice a week, I can't do coffee.
Tea? Never live without it. Mostly blacks and greens. I think too many additives ruin tea. Especially how Somalis tend to overdo and overcook it, based on experience.

Not a coffee person, but Turkish coffee is great. I hate the generic, over the counter crap. Once in a while, I brew myself some Turkish coffee usually found at ethnic food stores owned by Turks, Bosnians, Eastern Europeans, etc. Freshly ground coffee tends to be more aromatic and better tasting than the instant coffees sold at the grocery stores. As for tea, mint & ginger go really well with it. Minus the candied sugar, tea is actually good for your health, specially green tea. Because its an anti-oxidant and some even claim its great for the skin. Qaxwo Soomaali is pretty good too, with some sweet bananas.

I'm slightly addicted to Timmies iced coffee. It gets worse every time I have it. This Summer will be jittery :(
