Booranas are more of an original Oromo clan. And no I don't support Olf, and don't care for Oromo politics. Its a waste of time and a joke.
I believe Booranas have the right to claim those lands but me being of a different clan, I have no say or knowledge of who it belongs to. I don't support an independent state for Oromos, rather have all the Muslims join and create a muslim state. If we had an Oromo state it wouldn't look great at all, sadly we have a group of retarded Oromos who think they are all big shot sucking up to highlanders killing their own brothers. We deny it as much as we can, but are really divided. Due to religion, regional, clansmen, and so on we are not a united group.

Thank you brother,in fact i have many borana friends and a colleague at work and they all say borana is the original oromo so now i believe them. i can see you are peace loving,thats the way to go, oromos are better if they remained in ethiopia. its good to see you are forward thinking. otherwise we will end up with balkanization of east africa

If the Ethiopian government stopped what they are doing in the Somali region, built more schools and hospitols, arrested the prostitutes instead of the freedom speakers, and elected a Muslim leader for once(doesn't matter what ethnicity) then I would support Ethiopia. As for now, they've taken away land from relatives that owned it for generations sold it to foreigners, and left them with nothing. They killed friends and family members, others and haven't done anything that would make me accept being Ethiopian. So until I see a peaceful non habesh ruling party with less diseases and more education growing in the nation, I am only a Muslim Canadian.

i understand you my friend. i am for free societies i hate any kind of oppression be it religious,racial or any other. however i can see you are a devoted muslim that seeks a Muslim state. that's where i beg to defer with you because i am for secularism. state and religion should be two separate entities.you know things like Muslim extremism are the things that make people who are otherwise peaceful become opposed to that religion. i know there are extremist too in Christianity,but all these should be avoided. my advice to you is to accept the christian Ethiopian state and fight for rights and freedom within that state peacefully. as you know Ethiopia is one of the oldest christian state and the ark of covenant is there, so it is treasured by all Christians and Jews. i hope zenawi can grant Somalis their equal rights, in Kenya Somalis are equal to any other Kenyan and are very happy to be here. they have big positions. i wonder though who are these foreigners you claim are taking your land.

All I want to see is a Muslim leader for once, so we can show people we are eligible of running the country. We can't have another Christian leader running the country again. Leader after leader, all the spoiling went to the northern highlanders, and their Orthodox Church. People be it Muslim or traditional believers have been discriminated against in all ways by these people, and yet they the highlanders are not the majority and run everything like nothing will ever happen to them.
