Obviously the Horn Of Africa is becoming more and more dry due to climate change. This constant drought is not gonna go anywhere. That being said I know East Africa can't be the only region on Earth not affected by drought. The question is what are the long term strategies that can be put into place to actually cope with the droughts when they inevitably come? As You all know Somali communities across the world have the same thing every year, emergency fundraisers to send mass amounts of money so folks in Somalia can afford to buy food due to skyrocketing food prices. The question is what can be done as a permanent solution so every year Somalis world wide don't have to go into a frenzy?
