Somalis~Affirmative action/Racial quotas Correct?

Hello ladies & gentlemen. Now this is a serious discussion please refrain from commenting unless you have something worthy to add.
Now I am sure we have all experienced affirmative action and have witnessed racial quotas but what I would like to discover is are they correct.

But should one be treated better by being more likely to get a job by being more minority than another?
Should someone be treated better just for their age, gender, coulour, race, creed, religion, poor immigrant, disadvantaged, poor economic background?

I don't give a shit about the details but the amount of free passes in life I got for being a "minority" in this system are shocking. Affirmative Action makes being a minority a great thing.

Some people don't get it but the world and especially wealth & power is a bureaucracy, you get by on cheating and group hacking, that's it. I used to be one of those people who thought welfare leeching was a bad thing but everyone in any position of power or wealth is a welfare leech on some level (be it corporate or political). Cheat, cheat, cheat - it truly is the only way to live a free and prosperous life you can control. I have zero intention of ever working for anyone or living a clean, legal, straight life.

Guys but we will lose in that respect the winners will always be:
Halimos since they are more minority than us. They fill every single racial quota there possibly is they blow every single other minority out of the water.

A young, black, female, muslim, from a poor immigrant disadvantaged ethnic group, which is a poor minority ~ Somali. Will win everytime.

This is a flawed system that must be taken down from the core it is whole heartily unfair and must be despised you too will fall at the sword.

Being decently smart, being black, and knowing how to write compelling essays that milk situations like the Somali civil war will make in life in America easy for anyone. It has for me.

Hey if you want to go and live a clean and legal life while some cheating guy writes your check every Friday, its your call. I don't want to be a slave to someone who was more clever in cheating the same system we had access to. I'd rather be the shooter than the victim even if it means I'm a criminal, period. In life there's not 2 good guys, there's a cheater and there's his weak client - you can either be the client or the cheater.

Richfarax, black men get the biggest minority boost out of all groups (except maybe Native Americans). If you managed to stay out of prison, have decent credentials, and know how to interview I'm not sure how you got passed over.

Richfarax, are you serious? Black men are not even close to filling the quotas, especially African-Americans. My school gives out like 300 minority scholarships and black men only fill up 50 posts, African-Americans specifically only fill up 20 posts. For every African American who goes to college or gets a top notch career, over a hundred or more fail. If Blacks filled the minority quota then you would see improvements in their community - but they don't even fill up 2% of the total quotas offered.

You take help wherever and however You can get it. However only hardworking people will take advantage of the opportunity anyway. Sure You can go to school free or get a job because You're a minority but if You don't pass all Your classes at school or perform at Your job it will be useless. Excessive reliance on handouts and free passes leads to laziness and lack of initiative.


Ironic thing is Paidmonk who a little while earlier was harping on starving drought victims in the middle of a civil war asking for help as "lazy" yet here in the US where nothing is stopping You from achieving anything He is advocating for dependency on Government funds so one can play playstation/watch mtv all day.
