One solution will be to recognize Somaliland which just concluded a peaceful Presdential election in return for allwoing us to have access to the much deeper Berbera Port which used to be a major naval outpost for the Russians. All Somaliland needs is a backing from Ethiopia for it to be recognized by other nations. If and when Ethiopia recognizes it, the rest of the world will follow for never underestimate the political clout of Addis which is the third or second most important ' diplomatic captial' of the World.
