The fatwa does exist. Ben Bazz later retracted it after he was condemned and ridiculed worldwide, even among the Saudis.

I can provide the acutal Arabic text if anyone cares for it.
There's no argument over the quotes validity. Young executive's zeal is misguided, you can't change the past. The fatwa is a real as the monitor you're looking at, nothing will change that.

Now, the question is whether the (unchangeable) fact that two of the greatest Shuyookh in Islamic history, Ibn's Baz and Taymiyyah respectively were superstitious rubes affects Islam negatively?

This could set Muslims back decades if it becomes publicized. An FBI statement recently claimed that behind Wahhab himself, Bin Baz is the most revered scholar in the Muslim world.

Ben Bazz was blind because he came form a tribal Saudi family which practiced a lot of inter-cousin marriages. Being an inbred causes a higher likelihood of being blind and retardation. Only in Saudi Arabia could a blind and stupid inbred who thought the Earth was flat be proclaimed GRAND MUFTI.

It says in the Noble Quran that the EARTH is flat, and Allah created the Mountains to stabilize it, so it won't shake violently with Earthquakes due to instability.

Waan ka yaabay this guy, he does this on purpose and its not the first time!
