Do you not think it is silly and a little demeaning to base your identity and encourage social alignment purely on how much donation you've received from where? The donations are in my opinion from God who decided to instill sympathy in the hearts of those who gave and my Allah bless the givers for their generosity and my Allah make us grateful and self-sufficient henceforth and never again in need of pity and handouts....anyway, all I'm saying is, you are who you are...you can't change that. You can't decide you're going to be Japanese or English because they've donated significant money to dying people. That's just silly.

Ethnic Somalis are cushites.....doesn't mean all Somalis are ethnically Somali.
Somalia is an African country...doesn't make all Somalis ethically African.
Majority of Somalis are Muslim.....doesn't make all Somalis Muslim.

So, I don't see why we should align ourselves with anyone.

The countries listed such as "UAE, Saudi, and Kuwait" are oil based countries with massive resources, therefore their donation will be more, while Africa countries donation will be less, if anything, because they do not have the money nor resources. UAE & Saudi family have brought tremendous pain on Somalia, who do you think supplies weaponry, and funds ideological warfare on us? Did any of you know that Mogadishu airport is owned by a Dubai based company? Somalia is basically owned by Gulf logistical groups. Of course they will try to help because they do not want their investment to go too bad without them needing to. This is politics folks

Somalis are not beggars, but apparently if someone gives us a bone or two we are forever indebted to them.
The reason Africans have become disassociated with Somalis is not because they do not care for your well being, it is because Somalis have chosen to stay away from being African. Therefore, when you and Ethiopian have conflicts, Africans will come to the aid of Ethiopia, because they are actually proud to be African.
And since when did because Muslim denote to being Arabs? So in order to be a Muslim you have to be Arab? Apparently Christian Arabs do not exist, if anyone finds these "nonexistent" Arabs, make sure you guys take him or her to the SmiThsonian, I am sure Larry Daley will find them a proper home.

Ethiopians have more derogatory words towards Africans than any Somali has. Many Ethiopians have also disassociated themselves from the Bantu dominant African continent because, just like us, they also have a superiority complex.

The reason why they take Ethiopians side is due to politics, not because they like them more than they like us. Thats also why Ethiopia is the one country in our region that is overwhelmingly supported by the West. Especially in their conflict with Eritrea.

I wonder if people in Niger, Mali and Chad are also asking themselves who to associate with more, sub-Saharan Africa or the Arab Muslim world? I doubt that even crosses their mind. They are Africans and they are Muslims. Just like we are Africans and we are Muslims.

Africans will always like Ethiopians more than Somalis. Because Ethiopians like who are they, it is that simple. Somalis always trying to escape who they are based on the fact that a majority of them have "non-African" physical traits, even though it is not that unique.

Unlike the Somalis, Ethiopians are good in the political scale. They use their mind, not their emotions.
