If thats the case I've been there before many times when i was younger. What ever happened to it. I heard to many extended family members started showing up and expected stuff for free.

If thats the case I've been there before many times when i was younger. What ever happened to it. I heard to many extended family members started showing up and expected stuff for free.
:lol: that's exactly what happened...

but it was doing good for a minute... location is great. Howard University is close by, metro station is close, Ben's Chilli Bowl which is a DC Landmark is nearby too..

Yeah bro that place was great, i ate there every weekend for like two months straight. I actually used your place as an example last year when i went to visit my folks in hargeysa. My aunt owns this little store but gives out free stuff to all the family. I told her your situation with the restaurant and immediately she made the next family member pay :D.

You come from a good family bro don't ever take that for granted bro.

Thus they wern't a burden for the kitchen staff, plus they only ordered fish which was unpopular :lol: :lol:


Only Somali place I been to in DC is Nima

Murax and AW, Cafe Nema's food sucks.. Cafe Amalo blew them out of the water despite family consistently eating for free

and they sell alcohol :lol:
