American Somalis come in

How much influence has lobbying over your congress?

Somalia pays 20 000$/ Month to a lobbying company, and i havent seen any major US change over the general Somalia policy.

20,000$ a month barley pays the salary of a single lobbyist. You need to pour tens of millions into lobbying plus have a very active electorate to have any real impact on American policy.

$20K is nothing... you need firms that cost you six or seven figures to sway anything on Capitol Hill.

Somalia also isn't really at the top of the list of lawmaking agenda... the Congress is divided with the Republicans controlling the House and the Democrats controlling the Senate at this juncture.... plus they all are focused on the economy and the budget deficit reduction stuff. It is pretty irrelevant.

Ethiopia has huge hired guns that go to Capitol Hill... Meles Zenawi makes sure he has effective lobbyists to get the military aid and the monopoly of influencing things in the Horn

Somalia should be handed over to Alshabaab for prosperity and development. Any student that graduate with high distinction should be given 3 baasuukaas to simultaneously destroy two streets.

Somalia hanoolaato.
