friendless in a coma,
lying in a gutter,
Being raped,
being robbed,
being stabbed,
by passersby.
They take her arms,
make her hands into a fist,
use it to punch her,
her arms happily oblige,
her fingers scratch her face,
her teeth bite her lips,
her mind gives her false promises.
her distant cousins,
only cousins,
only by adoption,
every now and then,
apply some band aid,
[and] walk away,
having given,
some of their excess band aids,
while the rest is rolled out,
like a carper before them,
and they walk on it.
Gradually,
her hair falls out, one by one,
her skin has flaked, and flown with the wind,
she is blind in one eye,
she has broken all limbs,
her god given beauty tarnished,
her god given intellect deminishing and laying idle,
and the water that,
made up most of her body,
has escaped her body,
due to the pressure,
and now,
reduced to a shadow,
of her former self,
she lays there.
Her hair,
drifted with the waves,
her skin,
flew in the wind
her water,
travelled through the earth,
her nails,
moved by the rain,
and of these,
some have perished,
some are held,
some are gone,
some will find their way back,
And of these,
some of her hairs, skin, water, nails,
though no longer connected with the body,
some of her hair prick her,
some of her skin flakes itch her,
some of her water chokes her,
some of her nails scratch her,
but,
some of her hair cushions her,
some of her water hydrates her,
yet,
there are parts of her,
healthy cells,
yet to feel the pain,
there are parts of her,
regenerated cells,
built back stonger,
yet these regenerated cells,
are powerless on their own,
discriminated by the others,
and so,
fearing of infection,
they live in the protection,
of isolation,
at least untill,
a new infection they cannot fight,
finds its way,
into her.
How did she get here ?
Where did it start ?
It started long ago,
has been going on for 20 years,
Who will save her,
her being Somalia.
more's the pity that,
she has family,
her younger ones [siblings],
being held,
used,
abused,
manipulated,
their belongings taken,
their sovereignty seized,
by their captives,
the same who,
perpetuate her ordeal.
and the younger ones,
though they long,
and they call,
and they protest,
and they yearn,
and they demand,
and they fight,
for her,
for freedom,
for soverignty,
for identity,
for family,
for freedom,
it is to no avail.
and the younger ones,
are pushed,
pulled,
mobilised,
manipulated,
against,
eachother, and
rewarded with,
the superficial,
the counterfeit,
the only just,
lesser, evil.
The oppressors,
chalice mixers,
evil mongers,
crooked bandits,
poisen brewers,
torment designers,
are weak but,
on life support themselves.
But,
As Islam is the truth,
As there is Allah,
where there is asking,
there is hope,
there is mercy,
there is saviour,
where there is will and action for,
change for the betterment,
midfulness of Allah,
there is giving and granting.
One of these days,
with enormous resolve,
unwavering determination,
sincere prayer,
there shall be,
inshallah,
a window of,
relief and opportunity,
where her children shall return,
drawn by the thickness of blood,
having by the grace of Allah,
grown into women and men.
Her doctors shall heal her,
her nurses nurture her,
her teachers teach her,
her engineers build her,
her wealthy fund her,
her family accompany her,
By the grace of allah,
Inshallah,
In this window,
raise up from the gutter,
and take the path that has awaited her,
display the beauty gifted to her,
enjoy the wealth bestowed upon her,
Reward the children granted to her,
destroy the evil that tried to subjugate her.
Inshallah,
by the grace of Allah,
the most merciful of those who give mercy,
She shall live, succeed, avenge and prevail.
Glory be to Allah,
the lord of the worlds,
The most beneficent,
the most merciful.
