Our Magical Journey 1960 Till Today

Postby dagameison » Sat Nov 19, 2011 7:37 pm

What a ride we've been on. From 1960-69 we were SYL mouthpiece, had the largest percentages of parliamentarians, and always was president or prime minister. That all changed when siyad took power and after siyad was over-thrown mainly due to ethiopian interference and growing number of oppositions the country fell into the hands of the hawiye.

We were at weakest point in the 90s and even accepted a sal-balaar government which excluded us from the major posts in the government for the first time in Somalia's history. The USC had 40 tanks just based in mudug from reports I read, where as we were only equipped with 12 tanks which probably why the marehans had to jump in cause they did have alot of tanks at that time.

The only logical reason I can think of such a rise from down at the bottom to the top of somalia politics is. 1. The division of Hawiye they werent divided back then like they are now. 2. SSDF defeat of USC in Mudug which had as I said most of somalia's national arms located there cause it was aideed homeground. Reports say up to 50 tanks. Not one clan had that much and I believe we took it and that can only explain why all the hawiyes today are all going to garowe like tarzan, caalin, abdiqeybdiid, ahlul sunnah. It reminds me how we were in sal-balaar days when we used to do the ass kissing but today its turned around. The only logical answer is after the mudug battles abdullahi yusuf scored a huge stash of weaponries possibly up to 30 tanks, bms, technicals and the rise began.

I dont believe however its just because majerten are smart at politics, look at the samaroon they are smart bunch of ppl but their not anywhere near the top echelon of somalia and its because of a lack of military.

So I believe the rise of Puntland started after that battle at mudug. Yusuf and Aideed agreed to peace in mudug and pland, abdullahi yusuf was happy as shit he scored pretty much all the arsenal he needed to defend his region and aideed focussed his attention to hamar. From 1991-93 we werent even in the political picture which re-iterates that something happened after that mudug battle
