U.N-Corruption-Oil For Food Scandal In Iraq:

Postby Mowhawk » Thu Sep 08, 2005 3:59 am

Corruption exists in every level of government and in every country, and the difference is how the system is open to corruption in each country. For example, in the west, I'm familiar with cases where politicians take bribes on behalf of their party, or to themselves. One way to do is those individuals representing those vested interests making allegations publicly about the concerned politician, and then the Poli suing those individuals. They settle out of court and all settlements are approved by the courts to be confidential. Corruption exists everywhere and the difference is the approach. Considering that, do you consider that Kofi Annan is guilty of corruption for the latest U.N scandal, mind you only Kodjo, his son is directly implicated? Or, GWB and his folks have a vendette against him, (Kofi declared the Iraqi war to be illegal in the middle of the recent American Presidential elections)?
