I'll only say this once. Laughing
It is not for me to support him for he pulled a good one on us Laughing , but with that said I think CY genuinely wants to put back Somalia on the map. The only problem is , his work history coupled with his ties with the Ethiopians are killing him . I very much oppose him but deep down , I have some respect for the guy.
PS: Again in the name of fairness, .that speech of CY was I believe recorded in Arta . Although it's not very wise of him to say that , he wasn't president of Somalia back then . Georges Bush had a couple of DUI on his record way before he became president too , does that prove anything on his job performance today? NO!!!

Mr. President Abdillahi is a true hero determined to restore Somalia's honor where it belongs. That is who he is: Frank, strategist, dogmatist--by adhering to the rules and procedures of our constitution. Most people from all walks of life consider him a great leader who is more than capable of restoring the peace, but that attitude prior to reaching values and beliefs is what has angered war-lords to the bone because they see him the very final man that will destroy their mission to sustain the status quo, ideologically driven tribal-interest, warmongering lifestyle. In Somalia, it is he who is feared by his enemies, who plots every murder, sketches war plans, holds shares of return in the Isbaaro (Militia road blocks) business, and lastly secessionists, that run day-to-day administration and control. Hence, won't you support a savior like Abdilaahi Yusuf--- Just look at his portfolio for presidency in Puntland during his tenure. He established law and order, built many schools, hospitals, and everything else essential to our lives.

Ina Baxar, thanks for your honesty, give credit where credit is due,I think time has finished for us somalis supporting wholeheartedly for one person, before they get too big for their shoes, but any one who wants to restore for the dignity of somalia, should be supported,We also don't want a dictator, eventhough I some times say some countries are not suited by democracy or else they would abuse, having pointed out that I think if We need a figure like Siad Bare yusuf is the nearest.

He is one the warlords, so if you prefer any one of them over the other you are a big time Qabilist, Ignorant and hopeless.

At the end of the day those warlords that we(the majority of Maalis) support have voted for him, so not only is it his right but our obligation to give him a chance to make things right, at least for a couple of years, cos the alternative(another failure) at this point is not an option.Frankly If it were up to me I would choose any of my friends(like lion heart or mowhawk), but it aint my choice and yours apperntly. No doubt that most of Somali leaders are warlord.. but i can you assure who have subtle relationship with trait of warlordism..the problem that stem from being a/abdullahi yuusuuf is the lact of politica skills and charisma...he seem to deployed his skilled as former military man and sidelined in peaceful political negotiation...

wat he said in the un-chamber is testment to that
