So you prefer warlords or madmullah allied to Alqaacida to rule somalia?
Another 10 years of continues war or 10 years of peace under merciful Bantu lords who teach us the art of governance lol.

Call me naive if you want but i don't believe for one minute that all the problems in South Somalia start at the door-step of Al-shabab. But if it is a choice between a bantu aan daahir ahayn iyo al-shabab...then brother count me on the side of al-shabab. Because i believe that SOMALIS can handle al-shabab without outside interference and i will never accept the notion that an OUTSIDER can free/liberate me from my own brother.

This is how certain sections of the 'foreign' establishment is thinking. It is all about how their interests can be guaranteed without Somalis having a say in it. Trusteeship means handing over Somalia to another country and removing it as an independent state. The endless invasions, the dual-track approach, foreign oil congramelates lobbying and limitimg Somalia's coast to only 12 miles, recent Ethiopian and Kenyan military incursions in the name of defeating Al-Shabaab, and now removing Somalia as an independent state. The 'foreign' establishment seems to be adamant that they will not allow Somalis chart their destiny.

The question that should be asked them is if they don't want to strengthen and reform TFG, why do they want Al-Shabaab to be defeated? On one hand they want the TFG cease to exist, on the other hand, they want Al-Shabaab defeated. It is clear they don't want an independent Somali entity emerging in Southern Somalia. But we many need to ask what is driving these people to take these drastic actions. It is my view that it is all about the untapped natural resources in Somalia, particularly, the hydrocarbons found in Somalia's continental shelf.

HUTUFOOL, the Bantus have waged the longest and most destructive wars in African history, from Uganda to Rwanda to Congo to Burundi to Angola, around 10 million Bantus were slaughtered by other Bantus, our civil-war comes nowhere near the sick conflicts in those countries. The difference between their civil-wars and ours, is that they were allowed by NATO to reconcile while every-time Somalis come together to the table, or whenever a single popular Somali movement is set to take-over the country the Western powers launches all of their arsenal and proxy-slave countries to thwart any progress made in the South by arming warlords, by economic assasination, by pushing regional countries to invade.

It won't surprise me if Somalia has the largest oil reserves in Africa, we alreayd have the largest Uranium reserves. They need al-shabaab and TFG to legitimize the presence of their proxy forces. The biggest upset Somalis could make to their plans is if Al-Shabaab threw away the black flag and donned the blue sky white star flag and joined the TFG with all their men, and apologised for their crimes. This would allow the government to tax the wealthy regions of Somalia, and not be dependent on donors and there would be no excuse for the presence of their proxy armies, at the same time shady foreign actors like Sheikh Hassan and others could be purged out and replaced by patriots. The Shabab similarly would have a longer life-span if they became Somalia's version of the muslim brotherhood of Egypt.

This would be the only scenario for a Somali victory over the Global empire, unless an alternative Somali group rose to the occasion and subdued both Al-Shabaab and the corrupt TFG.

Everytime there appears to be a dominant somali force, a clear winner taking over somalia they always get attacked by foreign agents and then we're back to square one i.e. civil war with no clear winner.
