Rainbow the Sheikh is a scholar who lived in the 18th century, he called to tawheed (the oneness of Allah) during that time the people of the Arabian penninsula were deeply involved in polytheism and were returning to the ways of pre-islamic ignorance such as worshipping idols and graves.
