Abdulla in our endz i.e Haargeisa area they only eat shuuro with subag
And it's usually yellowish in colour
well yeah there is yellow and white cornmeal :|

You can have it with caano garoor iyo sonkor, with subag caano iyo sonkor, with suugo, with maraq, with subag and sonkor :lol:

TG, it depends on the corn that's used.

I've had both white and yellow. Taste identical, from what I remember.
I've had it with plain yogurt and timir.

People look down on soorta jalada walahi, its cheap and waa laga fanaa :lol: and who eats soor with subag/saliid :?

And it was beautiful to taste

I didnt say i did! back home people consider it to be a cheapest form of soor, i really dont know if it tastes different, its not like soor has any taste marka horaba :?

TG, never had it with subug or spices. I wonder if they added heel, qorfo, and cloves? That might go well.

Apparently there's also a purple/blue blend. Mexican & South American. Wiki says it's supposed to be sweeter. It's now on my list :up:

lol somalis eat everything with subag/saliid and sonkor. The weirdest thing i saw was spaghetti, with oil and sukar. I ate it and it wasnt bad at all

Actualy it's neither of these three
It's something called Geedo Adari which is from Herar as the name suggests
But I'm not sure exactly what's in it

lol somalis eat everything with subag/saliid and sonkor. The weirdest thing i saw was spaghetti, with oil and sukar. I ate it and it wasnt bad at all
I use to have it all the time, its quite common, especially since somalida who make food everyday the left over baasto that suugo ran out you just add subag ama siliid and sonkor and it's a nighttime dinner
