Living in Dixon Has Ruined me

Well we all live in Somali homes and they are generally all very clean and smell good. Am I not right?

Desis live in nasty conditions. Their houses smell like curry. I remember we moved into a home where Bangladeshis lived for a few years and it took a good 2-3 weeks before the curry smell can come out of it. We had to paint the whole house since the curry smell gets stuck on the walls. But thats just the smell. Let's go into people's cleanliness in homes. White people have dogs and dogs stain the carpets with their feces.

Can you honestly tell me that white people, blacks, desis have cleaner homes than Somalis?

They have cleaner businesses for sure; they know customer service. Somali businesses are not clean (especially the ones run by men). But hoyoos clean the house and they will never allow their houses to be dirty thats just my opinion though

i come from a very clean family, which is why i'm repulsed by the state of the buildings in dixon. i was there 3 weeks ago and didn't spend more than 5 mins in the area because the smell of the buildings almost knocked me out. imho only a dirty person/people would be satisfied with living in the current dixon.

sure desi food smells, but they are much,much, cleaner than most somalis are. if you don't believe me than pay a visit to 390 and then go pay a visit to 320. btw, a 3 bedroom apt in 390 is over twice as expensive as a similar apt in 320.

Dixon scares me for a whole other reason. When I was like eight/nine I went there with my dad ( best dad ever r.i.p). He left me in the car 'cause he was just dropping something off. I was sitting in the back seating with the windows down when these grown ass faraxs (21+) tried to lure me out with promises of candy. The kept knocking on the windows and telling me to come out and around back with them. ugh.

I am not from there.I was in the city and ended up there one evening.Before i even got to the building,i came across some casually dressed men and women sitting at a small playground eating cambuulo iyo shaah.

Then we opened the door,the smell was so horrible.I think they had a sewer open in the hallway or something.It was disgusting.

Alpha I really doubt anyone got forced to live there runtii.I do feel for those forced into such a situation by circumstances but most i believe stay there because it is slightly cheaper and might not require deposit/credit check.

They (Somalis in Dixon) are moving out and on up. My mum says the new racket is having eight/nine kids as a single mother~ and using said government benefits/welfare to rent a three bedroom house in Mississauga. I never got how the Canadian government never inquiries how supposedly single devoutly MUSLIM women get pregnant every year (out of wedlock)? DNA test all them kids and when they show to have the same father cut her off and make him pay child support I say.

Beans, they are forced through limitations and very few sources of support. A new family can do little in negotiating a different residence. When the government gives you welfare, you can barely work or your rent will skyrocket faster then you are able to pay it. This is even true of Rent Geared to Income/subsidized housing units. You're stuck in your income bracket, for good. Only option is to move your 6 member household into a bachelor apartment, do a double shift for a few years, save up, and then perhaps begin an actual life.

The first step of relying on the government then having children in that situation destines many families for sub-par, unhealthy, unsafe, unsanitary, living conditions in an environment which will most definitely leave their children in the hands of street thugs. It's effed up.
