sounds like you come from a clean familyNanees,
lol Somali homes are way cleaner than other people. This is fact. You can insult Somalis when it comes to alot of things, but cleanliness is NOT one of them

i come from a very clean family, which is why i'm repulsed by the state of the buildings in dixon. i was there 3 weeks ago and didn't spend more than 5 mins in the area because the smell of the buildings almost knocked me out. imho only a dirty person/people would be satisfied with living in the current dixon.Well we all live in Somali homes and they are generally all very clean and smell good. Am I not right?
Desis live in nasty conditions. Their houses smell like curry. I remember we moved into a home where Bangladeshis lived for a few years and it took a good 2-3 weeks before the curry smell can come out of it. We had to paint the whole house since the curry smell gets stuck on the walls. But thats just the smell. Let's go into people's cleanliness in homes. White people have dogs and dogs stain the carpets with their feces.
Can you honestly tell me that white people, blacks, desis have cleaner homes than Somalis?
They have cleaner businesses for sure; they know customer service. Somali businesses are not clean (especially the ones run by men). But hoyoos clean the house and they will never allow their houses to be dirtythats just my opinion though

She has multiple personality disorder. This is also true.![]()

sure desi food smells, but they are much, much, cleaner than most somalis are. if you don't believe me than pay a visit to 390 and then go pay a visit to 320. btw, a 3 bedroom apt in 390 is over twice as expensive as a similar apt in 320.

now this is was another reason why i thought somalis were clean. i heard a story that when all the somalis moved into those cedar buildings over 20 years ago, the rats left cause of "somali cleanliness". and the owner of those cedar buildings still praises somalis for this.Which is more horrible,Cedar building in Minneapolis or Dixon? I have been to Cedar and it was just wow.I cant believe someone would pay rent to live there.

I am not from there.I was in the city and ended up there one evening. Before i even got to the building,i came across some casually dressed men and women sitting at a small playground eating cambuulo iyo shaah.now this is was another reason why i thought somalis were clean. i heard a story that when all the somalis moved into those cedar buildings over 20 years ago, the rats left cause of "somali cleanliness". and the owner of those cedar buildings still praises somalis for this.Which is more horrible,Cedar building in Minneapolis or Dixon? is this true or somali folktale

you do know that the 6 dixon buildings are just regular apartment buildings right? they are not government buildings. When the government tells you where to live, pays your rent, gives you an income, and limits your movements with regards wealth accumulation, you have very few options.
Some of you are spewing insults without taking things into consideration.

Then we opened the door, the smell was so horrible.I think they had a sewer open in the hallway or something. It was disgusting.
Alpha I really doubt anyone got forced to live there runtii.I do feel for those forced into such a situation by circumstances but most i believe stay there because it is slightly cheaper and might not require deposit/credit check.
