so what if it actually were the hair from the Prophet (SCW), would that give them the right to fulfill this ritual ?? i am not going as far as to say this is Shirk, but i am reminded of what Abu Bakar said upon the death of the Prophet. This hair and the belongings of the Prophet should not be used in Idol worship, these things may be considered relics and therefor should only be kept for historic reasons.

There is a difference between remembrance/respect/love and worship, this rituals look identical to the Christian ritual of transubstantiation which is according to Islamic teachings a form of idol worship.

^sadeboi I thought that was a joke, I didn't even take it seriously. Transubstantiation is when the bread and whine of the catholic ritual in mass actually turns to the physical body and blood of Jesus Chris (as). How that could be related to this has me dumbfounded. And why I would have to answer something so ridiculousness as that statement has be more dumbfounded. Plz don't come to me with ridiculousness things.

I did not come to answer wild accusations of what this video could possible be represented as, what they might believe, or how this is related to any crazy christian doctrines. My premise is simple, they are venerating the possible remains of the Rasul scw, and I have come to answer the legality of it in Islam, and the precedence of the Sahaba of doing this. Let us please remain within that context, because that is the only thing that can be taken from this video, as there is no actual speech other than sending blessings to the Messenger scw.

So to help you understand the relevance of the transubstantiation comment, we need to go back to my earlier question. Define baraka for us, and what baraka does for the individual.
