What I don't understand is why it bothers some people when others try to improve their life and make a step forward...
Instead of insulting people can't they just say Maashaa Allaah? What is wrong with hutu and his chear leaders..Did anyone said

btw, somehow I get the feeling you don't know what a banana republic actually means
I could be wrong but i would think in 19 century in central America were half dozen unstable small countriess like Hunduras, Elsalvador, Guatamala and few more were run by rich Yankees plantaion owners, who happen to grow Bananas and changed the presidents of those little countries as they please, it was also when Manroe dactrin known as (the carrot an the big stick) came into America.

Not Kabakutukade but Abuu Mansoor, Shangoole, and Godane. They would have been speaking "May ku daare, may fadaase, and so on," had it not been support and backing of beesh Mareexaan. But then what do we expect from these Hutus when they are bragging about day and night about a victory delievered by the AMISOM tanks?

minaafaqnimo in its purest form.

Have I ever seen you give these kind of advice to your kin? and they are worst when it comes to bad mousing, pure jealoucy and cuqdad on other peoples progress.

I see that on top of all you other problems you also have comprehension difficulties. This is becoming quite repetitive but as I said before, the late government ruled with the implicit support of the people, when it lost this support, it was removed through war. Hence I said, "heck war happens - and as we did - you fight it, you win it, you cripple your adversary and you move on."
You're either woefully ignorant or deliberately misconstruing the casus belli of the civil war. Repeating platitudes devoid of any real substance is generally a sign of the latter. The fact is certain clans felt marginalized by the last government and for whatever reason, decided armed struggle was the best way to address the imagined marginalization, culminating with the destruction of what was once a preeminent, progressive African state.
Evidently Somaliland has moved on and it has the achievements to show for it. As for the prosocution of certain individuals, again this is becoming repetitive, " winner takes all, as they say, it seems including your freedom if possible".
I find it hard to believe you claim that Somaliland has "moved on" and in the same sentence justify lawsuits filed in the West of military officers who allegedly committed crimes two decades ago. Your claims seem to be mutually exclusive, especially in light of the fantastical claims (50,000 kia, genocide, etc.) made by the Somaliland administration.
It seems you misunderstood but I did not argue for independence, which to me would only represent the icing on the cake; at least not in that particular comment. Also, perhaps you are not aware but our situations are quite different. I can if I so choose, go and live in Somaliland, peacefully, with all the ameneties I could desire. Many Somalilanders have already done that, countless more visit the land and stay for months on end, as I have done myself. This may come as news to you, but let me introduce you to the concept of an economic migrant. Your homework will be to (a) learn the distinction between and economic migrant and a refugee and (b) learn the clear difference between the situation of Somaliland and the regretable and appalling situation in Ghetto.
I thought we would eventually come to this point, that awkward moment when a refugee deludes himself into thinking that he's an "economic migrant" and not a man who spent his formative years in an Ethiopian refugee camp and was granted asylum in a Western country. I hate to break it to you, but you're a despised parasitic refugee living off the state your ancestors once toiled for, unless you're a descendant of one of the coolies shipped to the UK during the colonial period. I'm sure the thousands of your brethren living in the council estates of London and its surrounding boroughs, emulating Jamaicans and filling the UK prison systems, were not living in those deplorable conditions during the reign of HE Mohamed Siad Barre.

Secondly, as I have said before, I'm not sure why you inject Somaliland into every debate. It seems to be a rather systematic trait amongst your kin, but I'm sure as you've realized by now, this thread was started by a Hawiye man while the first two to respond were Isaaq. You were the first to randomly mention someone insulting SL (Nostalgia of Ghettoans' booli qaran days or the insulting of Somaliland is not gonna get you anywhere) and then said "Don't concern yourself with Somaliland though" out of the blue. I understand that your "country" has developed a collective persecution complex, but the paranoia is reaching all time highs.
I cannot and will not attempt to explain the policies of the late government. Nevertheless, as we are all aware, charges of nepotism and corruption are entirely justified. But perhaps so is the charge of short-sightedness. As for the port of Berbera, we all know Barre did not built it, did not establish it, nor did he fund it (see Soviet union and U.S). Berbera is an ancient city and it has been a port since time immemorial. The location, it seems, was a natural choice for a port due to its history but also its ideal location, its natural deepness and lastly its natural harbour/shelter - we are aware some of you worship the man (MSB) but surely to credit him with the natural characteristics of a port is utter insanity.
I'm finding it increasingly difficult to take you seriously.
