Good information outlets regarding Somalia (My list)

Postby Coeus » Sun Feb 12, 2012 12:06 pm

Here is good websites you can count on for neutral & truthful stance on the issues in Somalia:

1.Sonna (Somalia National News Agency), even though they are owned by the Somali goverment, they are great at informing everything about the goverments latest achievements.

2. Somalia report- Even though i had my suspicions about the intent of this news agency, since it is owned by a non Somali. But neverthenless it has proven to have very good informal articles & good interviews with important figures in this war against Al qaeda in Somalia. So i recomment this news outlet, until it gives me reason not to.

3. VOA Somalia- Great info, professional writers and lots of Audio interviews.

4. Mareeg- Although they seem to have journalists with poor writing skills, they somehow manage to report almost everything first before anyone else.

Avoid clan websites that do not provide pictures to their articles since there is not much that can verify the truth in what they write.

So there you Go!
