Best you let this soul rest in peace and stop obsessing with him. He was a president of somalia for a long time; he had done many things for Somalia and for Somalis, but also made many mistakes and wronged people too.

If you care about him, just make ducaa for him and may Allah forgive him. It is never easy to be in charge.

He was a good soldier. He defended the Country against Ethiopia and Just for that I respect him. Anything else, we can talk about it as Somalis.

The biggest Mistake he Made was Killing the 10 clerics who challenged him on Suratul Nisaa ( about the Inheritance In Islam). He made a joke out of the ayah in his speech and said, the ayada waa lanasaqay.

That time siyad Bare soldiers and loyalists from Gedo robbed Raxanweyn food reserves which as a consequence reduced its population into starvation. They are responsible of the famine that killed over three hundred thousand souls in Bay Bakool regions in early 1990s

Did you hear his speech? I would like to listen. I heard that the day the clerics were executed 2 airplanes crashed just over the execution place?

So now, he was even responsible Rahanweyn starvation?
Though I sympatise with their suffering, I do not believe thay were innocent by standards. Hundreths of people who were on their way to Gedo region were killed and robbed by them in 1991. They just blocked the road and threw granades at the vehicles that refused to stop.

Walaahi waxii xunbaa haawaa iska leh.

The vast majority of the people who starved were innocent women and children.

Gunmen and militias don't starve
