do you mean john and daniela? I will them they are called yahya and diinah or something like that. But I am not planning to have children.

Somalidi iminka magacyadi gaalada ayey jecladen, this female i know named her daughter Raihana, onther named her child Sandra.
Xuquuqdo caruurto kugu leyhiin waxa ka mid ah inaad magac wanaagsan oo bixisid.
Personally i love somali old names.

I know women in their 40's and even ealry 50's caaled: Diana, Marry, Roma, Berlin, Edna etc. it is not a knew thing :shock:

I like these names for boys Imraan- Salman,yuusuf, Jamal, .. will probably never name them something with abdi too many somali with those names

girls too many options I may even invent my own name

If i had a son, or 3 sons or 5 i would name them:

Abdul Awwal, Saleem,Nashwan,Nawwaf, Masroor.

If i had 3 or 5 daughters i'd name'em.

Banafsha,Khayrah,Leila,Rabiya,Wasimah

Traditional Islamic names like Cali, Saleebaan, Axmed, Maxamed, Cabdi, Xaawo, Faadumo, Nuuro, amaal, zeynab, etc. And then traditional Somali names boys like Dalmar, Sharmaake, Guuleed, Libaan, Cosoble, Cawaale, Ayaanle, Guhaad, Gama'diid, Gaaxnuug, etc. For girls: Sagal, Ayaan, Siraad, Mandeeq, Hibo, Ugbaad, Ugaaso, Calaseey, Cosob, Magool, etc.

Rayan or Rayyan is the name to one of Islam's Heaven gates through which only the observers of Ramadan would enter on the Day of Resurrection
