The good was that all the leaders who attended the so called state funeral had no public legitimacy so it doesn't really matter.

what is public legitimacy? every body know TFG has no legitimacy in the Somali eyes that is why media calls Western backed weak TFG.

Besides cant we express our views as an individual? do u you think we should all represent qabiil/warlords? Somalis need to have personalized opinion instead of basing their view point on their qabiil/warlord linkage.

King, it is all about honoring the title "president", not personality. Sheik Sharif will get similar treatment from his successors. Look @ the title "Former president" - it is a universal thing...

My question is "do you deny the fact that he was undisputed president of Somalia?" If no, then the state funeral is part of the package :)

How tha fuck did this controversial man get state funeral and MSB AUN did not receive one. shit like this infuriates me.

Who cares about a State Funeral. It doesn't increase Your chances of going to Jennah. At My funerals I'd rather hear Quran, Duco than Trumpets and Saxaphones.

Siad Barre AUN would've received a state funeral IF there was a state.

Have people forgotten the simple fact that a state did not exist in 1995 in Somalia? :| :| :| :| :| :| :| :| :| :|

The reason I mentioned that wasn't outta spite or anything. I just think When You die the last thing on the marxuum mind is State Funeral or not.
