I would like to visit mombasa too. What is the best time to be there? I have an aunt in Nairobi. shall I go to nairobi then to mombasa or direct to mombasa, but I fear Kenyans they like laaluush and stuff. Do you think woman travelling alone would be looked upon down ( like I would seem not a good woman?).

I live in Nairobi but been to Mombasa. You can visit Mombasa anytime of the year but Januar
y,February and march are the hottest months. It also depends on how well your relatives there are doing, if their better off you will have a good time if not you will get to know the ghettos lol. Same thing in Nairobi. I prefer Nairobi much better due to the cool weather so you should start there plus everything is in Nairobi. Again it all depends on who shows you around cause everything in Africa are the two extremes either dirt poor or extremely rich.

No one care if your travelling alone here Kenya is very modern country but just so I don't get a sin I will advice you not to travel alone.
