Most Somalis are involved in Ayuto or Hagbad and they still send their kids to dugsi, plus tuition, and on top of that buy them the latest clothes and consoles. This thread must be the most sensationalised crap I have read in a long time.

Lamagoodle,

I honestly don't know or have the solution for the Somali culture of looting what is trusted with them. Even though some groups distance themselves from this evil culture, I don't seem to know differently. Every group, every clan, every region is the same. I wish I knew the silver bullet for this culture which is what ruined our great country but I don't . What I have noticed is people even love and respect those who loot more. Before I had hope for the educated people but then I have seen them doing the same..It is the case of "Haddii dabkii dhaxamoodey maxaa lagu diiriyaa?" The reason I love Turki's help is they make sure to have transparency and accountibility with what they donate to the Somalis... In short this old lady doesn't have a solution...

Kambuli, we know the problems; it is the elephant in the house; tribalism abated by poverty. One possible solution is to let somalia die instead of artificial short term solutions. Let us go down. No NGOs, no governments, no aid, no oversease money. Out of that shall rise a new somalia.

Your comprehension is very limited! If you'd have put a little effort in reading and understanding it, you'd have discovered that this thread has nothing to do with Hagbad/ayuuto. On the contrary, I discuss the advantages of the Hagbad/ayuuto.

The saying; markii geel loo heeso ayaad goryo u heestaa comes to mind.

P.s. don't some of you go to school?

Allah kareem. many somalis mastered art of toogonimo. nothing new, my father's said; why somali clapped is we have no respect for public money and stealing from public/government is their birth rights. since no government to loot , we need to loot poor single mothers and simple minds people by using, deen, clan, regional interest etc.

I had a guy take some money from me. It wasn't much. He failed to perform the business as agreed upon. I kept quiet. I called. He brought more excuses. I finally took the situation to tribal court and warned him to pay up. He panicked and paid me 50% back. Then 10% more. There is a remaining 40% balance and if he fails to pay me in 2 months, I will enlist my tribal mooryaan to seize his property and xarash it paying me my remaining balance plus 30% profit.

Don't fock around with these tuugo.

Dr. Yalaxow,

Use the qabiil card and if all fails, use the qabiil mooryaan and get your investments.

Yalaxoow, if you don't get your money use Abdiwahab as a bailiff

Hyper, necessity is the mother of innovations. The problem is that theft and earning easy money have become part and parcel of our culture nowadays

Lama, sxb, this is not school or a university seminar. This is Somalinet! In any case, If you are going to pretend to be an intellectual or some kind of social theorist on Somalis, sxb, at least put some effort into it and do not attempt to pass off sensastionalist bullocks you head from your aunties or some marfish as some kind of englightened talk or academia. Just a lil............
