I've never seen/heard of a Somali with a straight up Western name.. Pakistanis/Indians are infamous for this.. They usually change their name to a western one to fit in I guess..

I know a few Somalis with borderline western names.. I myself have one..

I know one as well, but it's not a Western name in the case of Somalis. It comes from the Somali word sabir (meaning patience, as in sabir iyo imaan).

It's not a nickname.. Its a popular old school Somali name.. I have it in my abtiris.. It comes up twice waliba.. Its a very attractive name..

Bootan is a nice name aswell.. My adeero is called this..
