could listen to him for hours on end, allaha rafciyo! even though other qurraa like minshawi and husary have better tartiil, theyre egyptian but i fail to see a saudi like ali jaber. allaha unnaxariisto.

touche :up: my dad prayed behind him 23 years ago, that was when he bought the sheikhs tapes for my older siblings and we all learnt qur'an from that.

AUN may allah grant him janatul firdows, what a great legacy he left behind, I too grew up listening to his voice, my father had the collection, he went to Hajj with my grandmother in the 70s I think he prayed behind Sheih Ali Jaber too but I don't know I'm going to ask him tomorow. Ali Jaber aun has a unique voice I love to listen to for hours on end whiles reading the translation of the Quraan, it brings tears to my eyes, one of the rare things that do.
