[quote="Talo alle udaa"]I have never really understood why these old farts are the quickest to come to grand meetings in which they are shown neither respect nor status The Absame in Somalia neither compete for the presidency, the PM position, or the speaker. It seems those positions are reserved for certain clans. Its hard to fathom why the Absame should support the TFG, their people are not even recognized as Somali citizens according to the latest constitution in which the elders are suppose to be ratifying. The Absame currently have no real position within the TFG, nor will they likely get any. Would it not make sense then to opposite the TFG. It seems only those who give the middle finger to the TFG are given special status.
I have noticed that while Absame invested heavily in Ogadenia, both shooting the gun for freedom and at the same time leading the Ogaden region whilst outmaneuvering the other minority somalis in the region, they have also invested heavily in kenya in the political sense.
absame however took the easy root during the civil war because they had too many options, when the war happened, the reer jubbland absame took safety with their kins in the NFD, their children have been schooled, they commenced businesses and invested politically. i believe if they did not have NFD, they would have been forced to stay behind and would have fought for their share of this abysmal creature named somalia. but on the other side they benefit by in protection of their kins as their children are safe and their females are not raped unlike the maskiins who have suffered in somalia for the last 20 years. and their numbers have multiplied in a safe region
they have also spend a great deal of energy in kenya in changing the constitution which comes to effect this summer. kenya will become regionally autonomous, one of the conditions absames have added is the ability to give citizenship to any absame that comes to the region and agreed with the Kenyans that any none absame can be deported or put in refugee camps. they are making a stride in Kenya, to the point where their carefully placed defense minister invaded their somali region.
in somali region i dont need to say more, they negotiate on both sides, with gun and with promise of being accepting to the federal union. only they can be the ministers at the top in the region, if ethiopia flops today or the tigras want independce, we know who will lead a ogadeniya.
something strange has happened to daroods in somalia. we have all sort of withdrawn inwards with yourself. majertein just seems interested in only themselves, absame in jubland and dhulbahante seem to be uninterested, marehan seems to be headless chicken running around, one time getting hutus against his kins and then he himself getting karbashed by them in gedo etc.
unlike hutus and idoors who seem to be united, their is no darood unity, this is why hutus will rule if there is strong central government.
we know marehan alone got weapons from ethiopians 23 times between 99-06 under the pretense that absame was gona take kismayo and use it for ONLF.
we know idoor used this line, so did majerteins.
the biggest divide between us is the question of Ogadenia and how we tackle it. should we go the way of NFD and get riches or should we fight for it and fight 90 million strong with billions in budget whilst at the same time fellow somalis seem to support them?
it is not in somali peoples favor to support ethiopia in her war against Ogadens. if Ogadeniya becomes independent tomorrow inshallah, there will be no more ethiopia. what will idoors do, i know for a fact that ogadeniya will be the new ethiopia,
also i thing kenyan absames should annex the jubbaland region and make it to join with NFD, unless their is strong regional federations, cant face living in a country ruled by non daroods. darood will never be supreme in somalia gain.
