Stop blowing things of context, nobody claims it's utopia, specially considering it's located in the poorest continent and still attached to the poorest and most corrupt country in the world. Unfortunate incidents are bound to happen but considering the situation we were in at one point and where we are now one must feel humble in a way. It could have been a whole different story in Somaliland at the moment, as time goes by our institutions continue to strengthen and the society will be at peace.

The way you guys talk about Somaliland sure does make it sound as though you guys think that it is utopia.

It is not only Somaliland that is progressing and prospering the rest of Somalia, particularly Puntland, is as well. Somaliland might be better than Southern Somalia but is still one of the worst, poorest and corrupted places in the world. This is just an example of how corrupted Sillanyo and his government is. Every-time I think about Somalialand one analogy in particular comes to mind. Someone once said "Somaliland is like the ugly sister, who stood next to her even uglier sister, and thought she was the most beautiful woman in the world."


BTW, you Somalilanders talk about what goes on in the rest of the country so stop been so defensive about the current atrocities in Hargeisa.
