Your Gulf Arab monarchies don't lift a finger to help the Muslims who are being hurt by non-Muslims, but they work with "others" to destabilize certain other stable Muslim countries on the simple fact that these Muslim countries followed an independent path. There is no way Israel favors Assad to remain in power. As a matter fact, they want the support from Iran to Hezbollah and Hamas thru Syria being cut off. If Israel wanted Assad to remain in power, the west would not have been his opponents. One question i am dying to ask Somali.. why is it they never check both side of the story?? always what is more spicy and run with it. No problem. Even though the accent is similar the syrian pronounce words more Heavily.
