We have a lot to be hopeful about for Somalia.

Postby The`Republic » Mon Jun 04, 2012 4:04 am

When I compare the Somalia of five years ago to today's Somalia, I must say we have a lot to be hopeful about. Sure there is a lot of anticipation and anxiety involved with it, but it is amazing to witness the spirit of being alive and the spirit of hope I see from the Somalis I come across nowadays when discussing Somalia. I really think we are in the last five minutes of civil war and anarchy and close to transitioning to a formidable resurgence of governance and stability. We certainly can't predict the future but the signs beckon with hope.

If I were you, I would temper down my hopes, jubilation and fantasy. The road to hell is paved with good intentions.
