He is from Eldher and is Wacaysle. The reason I'm supporting him has to do with his contribution to Somali education and nothing else.

Ok i agree with you that he is Wacbuudhan. But the thing is Sahal are only Wacbuudhan by blood. Badiyow campaign is known by more Wacesle than Daud.

The Gedi Shadoar, Togane mentioned have Sahal mothers and alot of Sahal are intermarried with Wacesle. There is not 1 single Sahal that doesn't have a Wacesle blood in him. Also Sahal are quite religious and their biggest students are Wacesle and vice versa. Sahal even talk the Wacesle lingo instead of Wacbuudhan one. Hence why Wacesle see them as one of their own.
