I'M A SUPPORTER OF A SOUTHERN DAROOD STATE, BUT DAMN PLEASE CHANGE THE NAME!
AZANIA IS BANTU LAND OF TANZANIA
Tightrope, The state has nothing to do with Darood or specific clan. It is an all inclusive state that will accommodate every community in Gedo, Lower Jubba & Middle Jubba.

Name Azania was among 18 names proposed for the region. The criteria for selecting the name was based on:
-Being Historical(previously known)
-Clean from the previous injustice.

Some of the rejected names that were among the 18 proposed names were the Jubaland, and Doxada Juba due to being associated with the atrocities committed by the groups that used those names.

Azania is historical name that was previously known for the region and a clean slate to start a perfect union :som:
Well said awoowe, the Azania project is greater than tribal politics! It's the hope of restoration and rebuilding of a failed state from scratch, in a bottom up approach. Those who knows understand it!
