Im not afraid of dogs but I certainly don't like them. I've noticed somalis and cats share many characteristics:

Somalis and cats hates dogs, water (in Hargeisa people literally run like its the plague when it rains). They are both proud and very lazy and both are carnivores who really like milk. there are exceptions, of course.

Warya you haven't stated what breed.

You can touch a dog but you just have to wash your hands.

I used to be really scared of dogs but now I am used to being around them. If it wasn't so complicated as a Muslim I would get a border terrier :mrgreen:

WARNING!! All pregnant women or those planning to become pregnant should stay away from cats.

Cats carry within their infeces a parasite called Toxoplasmosis gondi, which can cross the placenta and cause havoc in the fetus.
Infact for healthy reasons, families with children should stay away from all pets (Dogs, Cats, Birds, etc) because each and every one of them either carries a worm in their gut, a parasite, etc.

waa iga Talo.

^kittens are cute and funny to have around but cats are boring you can't do anything with them. Dogs on the other hand are mans best friend enough said. Nothing more loyal than a dog.

I also find Lion cubs to bee supper adorble I wouldn't mind having a couple of them :lol:

the acronym, TORCHE, tells you what viruses, parasites, bacteria, that can cross placenta and damage the fetus in utero.
T=Toxoplasmosis gondii
O=other
R=Rubella
C-Cytomegalovirus
H-Herpes simplex virus-2
