Sxb, inshallah you will be haplogroup T ama J1. Only Allah knows our DNA until we un-ravel the mystery ourselves, marka put your trust in him.

You're probably E1b1b like the vast majority of us. If you're the small minority of T, it won't make that much of a difference tbh, since both haplogroups were introduced into the population roughly around the same time iirc. J1 is almost out of the question.

I think Im diffrent since most of my lineage up to the 5th guy were all very light. and some had nicknames like nur.plus they werent npmads but traders. so there is a big possibility of e1b1b and lil of T but there is a chance J.

Don't do the test. It will undermine your beliefs. I took it. For weeks, I paced around late at night worried that I would flunk my Native Hawiye DNA test by getting a Jeberti result. It shook me when I misread the results as being Semitic :-O I nearly wept before being corrected by Dr. Dawwa and James Dahl who informed me that I was a Native Son

LOL

So far everyone who took the test (Darood, Issaq, Hawiye, Dir etc) with the exception of one (GARAADLQ) got E1b1b, we as somalis are langaab nation and on top of that freakishly related. I know some people here are emotional about their little arab fairytale and would cry that they don't descend from some basal eating arab from yemen and Iraq. Our ancestors were focking barefooted, cloth wearing nomads who's diet consisted of Milk and Meat. They didn't know simple math, science, or even had a written language, all they cared about was reciting poetry, camels and traveling to new grazing land. So you gonna believe what they been telling each other as passtime in the bush or are u gonna believe ur DNA.

Me and Sahangalbeed got he same exact results both paternally and maternally, I am Marehan Darood and his Issaq habar awal.

Fact is, Somalis are pure horn of african with no ties atleast bloodwise to any other place besides north africa.

That just means that you're both assimilated in to those respective clans.

90% of Somali males who took the test so far got the same paternal DNA as us, all the results are stored in a database on the companies website and they pair you with closest relatives both paternally and maternally, and aint nothing but somalis on that list lol even the ones with T and R1. however on the motherside we somalis show diversity alot of indians/pakis, arabs, etc but when it comes to father to son to father to son, we pretty much have E1b1b on lock.

As my second cousin, I was paired with this issaq girl along with others and she asked me how we were related after a brief discussion I told her since she is a female it's strictly from mitochondria, since her moms, moms, moms, moms qabiils couldve been differen't just like mine, anyways I told her about the E1b1b, and she refused to believe it even though the data was right infront of her. lol

I dare u caligaab, abubakeer and many others who cling on to fairytales to take it and see the results for urself.

which is why I will never take the test.
I know a close paternal relative who took the test, I'm assuming I would get the same results which I would not be happy with.

Me and Sahan maternal DNA came from ethiopa, habar habusheed baan nahay

Lakinse I didn't pay a dollar lol...mine was from a free trial they had, but forget this DNA stuff the most important thing was my health feedback, disease risks and percentages, tolerance to things, bidaar genetics lol and everything in between.

But what made me :ohhh: was 2 things that I had a high score in and doctors couldnt explain but this simple dna extracted from saliva did?

Caadi ma'ahan.

haplogroup T1 is not Arab you clueless idiots. All ethnic Cushitic Somalis are either E1b1b or T1.

These are Egyptian-Cushitic lineages. Even the Maasai and Fulanis (who are Cushitic mixed Nilotes) carry it. It's very old in East Africa. The only real Arab lineages are J1 and R1. Needless to say, these are rare among Somalis.
